Benefits of SDVOSB on GSA Schedule
Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) can benefit from a GSA Schedule contract in several ways:
Increased Visibility: GSA Schedule contract allows SDVOSBs to increase their visibility and access to government agencies as potential customers. This can help them to gain a foothold in the government market and grow their business.
Streamlined Procurement: GSA Schedule contract provides a streamlined procurement process for both the vendor and the government. This can help SDVOSBs to save time and money on the bidding process and increase their chances of winning contracts.
Pre-Negotiated Prices: GSA Schedule contract includes pre-negotiated prices and terms, which can save time and money for both parties. This can be especially beneficial for SDVOSBs, as they may have limited resources and may not be able to afford the cost of bidding on contracts.
Set-aside Opportunities: GSA Schedule contract includes set-aside opportunities for SDVOSBs, which means that a certain percentage of contracts are reserved for businesses owned by service-disabled veterans.
Compliance with Federal Regulations: GSA Schedule contract requires vendors to comply with various federal regulations, such as the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 and the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999, which can help SDVOSBs to navigate the complex federal procurement process.
Priority for Certain Contract Award: GSA Schedule contract also gives priority to SDVOSBs for certain contract awards, which can help them to compete on a level playing field with larger businesses.
Overall, the GSA Schedule contract can be a valuable tool for SDVOSBs to gain access to government contracts and grow their business.
