The GSA Multiple Award Schedule is for IT Services for Modernization of DoD and Federal Agencies and 21st Century.
The General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule is an IDIQ contract with an arbitrary delivery and indeterminate quantity (IDIQ) that can help to deliver the latest technological solutions from small businesses to federal agencies. The GSA Schedule Contract scope includes IT hardware, IT services, IT software, and IT solutions. These include cloud solutions and agile software development.
Planning the purchase, specifying the requirements, and creating the solicitation are all steps in issuing a task order. Other steps include providing fair opportunity (unless there is an exception), delivering solicitations, reviewing the proposal, keeping records of the award, debriefings, and objections; administering the order; and concluding it.
Contracts under the GSA Schedule have a five-year base period and three additional five-year optional periods. Delivery or task orders are issued by ordering operations under the GSA Schedule deal. Orders must be placed while the Schedule contract is still in force. Orders that were placed during the effective period but weren’t finished during that time frame must be finished within the time frame stated in the order. However, the “period designated” cannot extend past the expiration of the Schedule contract by more than 60 months.
The fact that a GSA Schedule streamlines what is generally a difficult and drawn-out federal procurement procedure is one of its main advantages. Pricing has been determined to be fair and reasonable, which shortens review periods, and GSA Contracts are in compliance with all applicable procurement requirements. Government buyers no longer need to spend time responding to intricate RFPs or engaging in drawn-out discussions because they may make purchases straight from CCT’s GSA Contract.
Additionally, it facilitates task orders that include ongoing partner cloud services, cloud support, and labor for cloud implementation into a single guided award. There is no upper order limit on customer orders in GSA schedule, and it has a twenty-year contract period with a five-year base period.
GSA Schedule indefinite quantity IDIQ contract allows discussions and proposal submission prior to award with industry partners and directed tasks.
Agencies will receive GSA Schedule credit for conducting Task Orders with prime contractors such as Cloud Computing Technologies.
